This policy describes how FindMeGift handles information when you browse findmegift.com and use its gift-discovery features.

Information stored on your device

FindMeGift uses your browser’s localStorage to remember your preferred discovery mode. The gift brief you edit remains in the current page session and is not sent to us. Your saved preference stays in that browser unless you clear site data; it is not an account and does not follow you to another device.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you provide, such as your address and message. We use it to respond, address feedback, and maintain the site. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Retailer and affiliate links

When you follow a link to Amazon, you leave FindMeGift. Amazon processes information under its own privacy policy. An affiliate identifier may allow the program to attribute a qualifying purchase.

Hosting and security logs

Our hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, requested page, time, and error details to deliver and protect the site. These operational logs are controlled under the provider’s service and retention terms.

Security and measurement

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to distinguish legitimate requests and protect the site. It may also produce aggregate performance measurements. FindMeGift does not use this data for cross-site advertising, and no optional advertising cookies are active in the launch version. If additional measurement or affiliate-click tracking is introduced, this policy will identify the provider, purpose, retention, and any legally required choices before activation.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information emailed to us may be shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate communications or comply with law, and retained only as long as needed.

Your choices

You can remove your saved discovery preference by clearing site data for findmegift.com. You may contact us about information previously sent by email. Rights and response requirements may vary by location.

Children’s privacy

FindMeGift is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13.

We may revise this policy as FindMeGift evolves. The date below shows the latest revision, and material changes will be explained here or through another appropriate notice.
