How we choose ideas
We assess recipient fit, occasion, usefulness, originality, setup effort, likely taste risk, and the burden a gift places on the recipient. We include different paths instead of simply repeating popular products.
What “recommended” means
A recommendation reflects editorial judgment based on the information available when a guide is prepared. Products are not personally tested unless a page explicitly says so. Manufacturer claims and marketplace listings are never presented as independent test results.
